01The layer nobody sees
Mid-thigh compression shorts worn under a kit, sold singly and in packs of two and three, S to 3XL, in the same knit as the tights.
Colourways on this page: Dark navy, Grey, Black, Camo red, White, Camo grey, Camo black, Black and white, and 2 more.
These are the shorts that go on first. Mid-thigh, close, with the same four-panel construction as the full-length tights and the same waistband, and their job is to stop a football short or a basketball short from riding up the leg every time you change direction. That job is also why the length matters: too short and the hem rolls at the top of the thigh, which is the complaint compression shorts get most often, and mid-thigh is the length that stays where it was put.
A pair on its own starts around twelve dollars and the three-pack lands under thirty, which is the cheapest way into this range. Sizes run S to 3XL, and the size letter here follows the waist rather than the thigh: the leg has the stretch to cope, the waistband does not. If you already own the full-length tights, buy the same letter. If these are your first DRSKIN piece, order a single before a pack, because a waistband is the one thing on a compression short you cannot judge from a photograph.

Every colourway here is priced on its own; the DRSKIN lineup keeps the figures current and the till is what decides.
02About these pieces
The layer nobody sees
That is the whole point of them. A close knit against the skin gives the outer short something to slide on rather than gripping the thigh directly, so the outer layer settles back down instead of climbing. It works better the closer the fit, which is another argument against ordering a size too large.
Go by the waist, not the thigh. The leg of a compression short has enough stretch to cope with most legs at a given waist size, and the waistband is where a wrong letter shows up first — it folds over when you sit. If you already own DRSKIN tights, the same letter is right.
In a gym, plenty of people do. They are an under-layer by design and the knit is thinner than an outdoor short, so for anything with a bench, a bike seat or a rough surface the 10-inch athletic short on the same shelf is the more sensible outer layer.
