A three-pack answers a laundry problem rather than a wardrobe one. Base layers come off wet, they do not get a second wearing, and one of anything means washing after every session. Three is the smallest number that covers a normal training week with nothing hanging over a radiator, which is why it is the pack size that turns up on every shelf here and the one most people end up buying. On every one of those shelves it also costs less per garment than the single of the same thing.

The one thing to read before ordering is the colour line on the card. A three-pack arrives as the three colours it names — black, grey and navy means one of each, not three blacks — and where the brand sells a single-colour three-pack, the card says that instead. Sizes are the same run as the singles, and every garment in a pack is the same letter. If you are ordering a first pack rather than replacing one you already know, read the size guidance on the individual piece first: a pack of three in the wrong letter is three times the annoyance.
